Despite all the history books, archives, and first-hand accounts we have, many different interpretations and imaginations have irreversibly blanketed history, similar to how a pigeon will decorate hapless statues of historical figures. With a tongue-in-cheek approach, The History Bluff continues the trend and makes like a pigeon, messing up history with creative interpretation and a freewheeling imagination.

Sadly though, all historical accounts on this blog must be regarded as fictional although each story makes use of widely-accepted truths. The stories are meant to delight, entertain, and generate a sincere interest in the history of our world and the people who changed your life before you were even born.
